Jill Barton, Co-Founder & CEO
Jill has always loved horses and her first job (at age 14!) was working at a riding school.
Although she went on to a career in the medical field (for humans!), she’s been involved in animal charities and rescue, most of life.
Jill is so passionate about saving the animals in Egypt that she & her husband founded Egypt Equine Aid by selling their family home and moving to Cairo.
Warren Barton, Co-Founder & Treasurer
Warren has a background in construction, building and the armed forces.
He provided an invaluable contribution to EEA by using these skills to construct and fit-out EEA’s farm facilities in Egypt.
Now back in Australia, he continues to support EEA by receipting donations and assisting with financial management.
Jeff Robson, Masters App.Fin, B.Com, FAIM, FFin, CISA, MAICD, Chairperson
Jeff is the CEO and founding director of Access Analytic, a successful consulting & training business in Perth, Western Australia.
He is also the Executive Chairman and Co-founder of Prezentt, an exciting technology startup.
He is a popular presenter and travels extensively throughout Asia, the Middle East, and Oceania to speak at conferences and run training courses.
Jeff brings a range of skills in finance, business administration, strategy, marketing and IT.
He has been an active supporter of a number of not-for-profit organizations from a very young age & visited EEA in October 2015.
Nicole Van de Gard, BEd (Hons), LLB, Grad.Dip. Legal Practice, MEd Secretary
Nicole is a teacher and a lawyer and has worked in both professions.
She now works in a business improvement team at a university in Sydney.
Nicole has been a passionate supporter of animal charities since childhood and has played an active role in a variety of charities.
Dr Med Vet Muriel Sacks, DVM, Masters in Vet Med, Veterinary Technical Director
Dr Sacks is a highly-qualified veterinarian.
Originally from Switzerland, she now works in the equine department at Murdoch University in Perth, Western Australia.
She has published research on a number of topics including Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia.
Muriel visited EEA in 2017 and provided some expert advice and training for our staff.
Angela Williams, Marketing & Fundraising Director
Angela has been passionate about animal welfare her entire life and has been actively involved in a variety of animal welfare groups for over 10 years.
Angela was on the board for Second Chance Horse Rescue for over five years, rescuing and helping hundreds of horses all over Western Australia.
She lives and breathes everything horses and resides in country W.A. with her husband and two children and a multitude of four-legged friends.
